Discounted Student/ Educator Tickets

At City Lights, we are committed to encouraging young people in the arts with our Youth and Education Program, which offers not only exceptionally discounted student and educator rates, but also in-depth Study Guides and additional TalkBack discussions with the theatre's artistic team. These enhancements, along with the high-quality theatrical productions that earned City Lights the award for Best Local Theatre Company by the readers of Metro, are designed to give educators and their students a first-rate adventure into the world of theatre.

General admission ticket prices are $25 - $40 depending on which night you attend, but ST/ ED discount tickets are available for only $15! In addition, we offer an exceptionally discounted student group rates of $10 per ticket for student/ educator groups of ten or more. PLUS, you can download a FREE copy of our in-depth Study Guide to help you integrate the play into your work in the classroom.

The second Sunday of each performance is followed by our TalkBack Session, an educational and interesting post-show discussion including the director, designers, and actors involved in the production. Often, additional post-show discussions can be arranged so that students can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the work and ideas that go into producing a play.

As a part of our Student/ Educator Outreach Program, City Lights develops FREE original Study Guides. Study Guides are a collaboration between City Lights staff with major contributions from the director, actors and other artistic staff of each production.
